The Jordilight is the most unique light I have ever owned. It adapts to almost any situation. Most of the situations I have used it in has been camping. The ability to fold the Jordilight makes it a useful lantern. Other headlights may have some features, but they all shine in only one direction. The Jordilight makes a great area light when folded.

The ability to use red light around the camp to preserve night vision is a great plus. As well as the range of brightness. Other lights have high and low, but the Jordilight has everything in between. My recent camping experience was under a supermoon, and we slept in an old one room school house built in a mountainous area back in the 30's. The Jordilight adapted to both inside and outside activities. I could put the Jordilight in full brightness outside and then swipe to turn the brightness down while inside the dark schoolhouse.

The hike into and out of the hills was brutal and the Jordilight made the trip just fine in the pocket of my cargo pants. No fragile front lens to worry about. The build quality of the Jordilight is outstanding and I expect it to last for a long time.
